Naveed Parvez has been working in the administration department as a rider and assisting in outdoor work at the Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP) since 2019. He worked as one of KDSP’s main frontline workers making KDSP‘s COVID-19 response possible. His efforts furthered KDSP’s mission of assisting those families of individuals with Down syndrome who were severely affected during the pandemic, including households where there was a serious risk of infection. He also purchased material kits including stationery, study tables, toys, arts and crafts material for educational and skills development virtual sessions for children with Down syndrome. He delivered these kits to over 40 children and adults with Down syndrome around Karachi.
