Digital Rights Foundation

Digital Rights Foundation (DRF) is a non-government non-profit organization registered legally in Pakistan in 2013 under the Societies Registration Act 1860. DRF focuses on ICTs to support human rights, inclusiveness, democratic processes and digital governance through advocacy, research and direct services. The organization works on issues of privacy, surveillance, free speech, political participation, digital security, gender & tech and online harassment. DRF is making online spaces more secure, free and inclusive through capacity-building of women, human rights defenders, journalists and minorities in online safety and security. The organisation also provide individualized services through our Cyber Harassment Helpline which provides women with digital security support, legal advice, psychological support and referrals. The helpline provides confidential services through a toll-free number. Furthermore, the DRF team contributes to discourse around digital rights and advocacy by conducting research and engaging with policy-making and legislators.
